The Blackwood Times is a tabloid size, monthly newspaper,
delivered free of charge to over 13,000 households and
businesses in Belair, Bellevue Heights, Blackwood, Eden Hills,
Coromandel Valley, Glenalta, Hawthorndene, Blackwood Park, Upper
Sturt, Aberfoyle Park and Flagstaff Hill.
This newspaper has been serving as a link between residents,
businesses and groups since 1994 - keeping the community
informed as to what is happening in the Blackwood area.
Reporting on important issues affecting the community; Mitcham
Council activities; giving the sports clubs, service clubs,
schools and a variety of organisations a voice in the community;
and letting residents know Whats On in Blackwood.
This is the only newspaper to report solely on events affecting
residents in the Blackwood district - local faces, local places
and local businesses.
Because of this very localised and targeted reporting, we have a
high
readership and excellent following in the community.
Generally, The Blackwood Times is delivered directly into
householders
letterboxes (not thrown on the driveway) during the first week
of every month of the year.
